God Poem by Agata Konopka

God

Rating: 4.3

Put an end to this pain.

God,
Put an end to my reign,
Be my salvation,
For I need saving,
Bring light into,
This dark tunnel,
This sea of voices,
I can't take,
Another,
Time to cry.

I'm on my knees,
Begging for something,
Someone to be my salvation,
Be my light.

God,
For this nation,
The nation,
Of your creation,
Has forever been,
The root of pain,
They planted and,
Nurtured,
The seeds,
Of pain,
Inside of me.

God,
How only you,
Can save me,
This burden,
Is too great,
I'm on the edge,
There's a fire inside fo me,
It's raging,
Burning, tearing at my flesh,
Flowing through my blood.

God,
Help me, put out the fire,
Help me, step into your light.

Hi Me Again Agata, I like this Poem very revealing I want to share with you When I was 15 I was battling God, My family very unhappy. I was also being disciplied by my pastor. One Night upon going to bed my Bible was calling out to me I believe it was God. Not to any verse but to open the Word of God. I opened to Philipines Chapter 2 Where it tells of the humbleness of Christ and how we should live like him. This is really my stronghold verse I encourage you to read it. Also Matthew 17: 20 In Christ, Peter
