what were you going to do?

faith over fear
choosing calm over chaos
serenity over stress
peace over perfection
...
going outside...going outside
a new day is dawning
stuck inside for months and denied
for months.

life is a journey
no one
ahead or behind you
you are not more advanced or enlightened
...
forgive yourself
for not knowing
what is not known
until you lived through it
...
listen to your voice
the voice in your soul
many people listen to the noise of the world

we create the circle
equals in the circle
nothing in front
nothing is behind

walk the path of the ancients
honor those who walked before thee
respect the wisdom of elders
the integrity of equals

GROWING UP IN THE LATE 1960’S AND 1970’S, MY MUSICAL AND POETIC INFLUENCES WERE VAN MORRISON THE BEATLES AND THE MAMAS AND THE PAPAS. NOW, A LOCAL WRITER IN THE PHILADELPHIA AREA. MANY WORDS THAT ARE WRITTEN AND SPOKEN ARE FROM REAL LIFE AND FEELING. THIS IS WHAT I ATTEMPT TO CONVEY TO THE READER AS I WRITE, TO PULL THE READER INTO THE EXPERIENCE AS I WRITE. MANY OF MY WRITINGS ARE SPIRTUAL AND ROMANTIC IN NATURE. THEY ARE ALL WRITTEN FROM THE HEART. MY WAY OF SHARING WITH ALL OF YOU WHO I AM.
