In this life, I'm truly thankful
For all that I have received
For sun and rain, I am so grateful
And with true Faith this I believed:
Whatever comes bears a lesson
A gem of wisdom there to learn
Be it achievement or a burden
A wealth of thought that I can earn.

Mistakes and losses of the past
Those shattered dreams and all
Mere fragments now that do not last
Can't stop my journey, make me fall.
So I leave them just where they are
I find my freedom and forgive
The lessons written in my scars
Supply the will to go on and live!
