Gloom Fades To Bloom (May 20th,2003)

The growing understanding
we are who we are not who
we used to be
The joys the warmth of our love
and honesty
Our hearts would shine like the
sun breaking thru clouds of gloom
Permanently shining in
a place place where birds chirp flowers
bloom
Birds chirp flowers bloom
Children run and play
Laughing thru each
summer's day
Dogs drag their owners around parks and
streets
While owners reward with toys and
treats
Groups of teens with gleaming eyes
a giggle and a grin
Flirt flashing teeth and do
it all over again
My heart thinks of you
of all the future smiles for us there
of all the experiences we have yet to share
In our hearts there would be no
empty space left for gloom
Our love would make every season
permanent summer where birds
chirp and the flowers bloom
