Humid Taste (Oct 4th,2003) Poem by Nicholas McDonough

Humid Taste (Oct 4th,2003)

Peering through the palable night
Darkness presses it's thick
warm blankness upon me
Moonless and moist as black velvet.
Poisonous air about us-
a sudden chill
as flat as glass
with the mental chill of sudden death.
