Pollution by litter from the land to the sea
Populating the place with dirt and debris
Cause for worry; it's a global groan.

Waste oil and scum in the rivers with weeds
Destroying the nesting and fish can't feed
Cause for concern; it's a global groan.

Now on the land plastic filth in the sand
A growing danger from the manufacture's band
Cause for tears; it's a global groan.

See the great melting of ice at the poles
Sea levels rising no more beach or mangroves
Time for action; it's a global groan

World leaders on this matter some still in a spell
Wake up from the politics be honest and tell
Proclaim with voice and with digital cell
Get organized patriots for the swell
Time for the call; it's a global groan.
