Herb And Spice - By Dolston Morian

She is my herb and my flavored spice
Her aroma keeps the place a smell that's nice
Cutting sweet herbs with her cutter and knife
She is my herb and she is my spice

She crushes them all to make power clove
Then sprinkles for taste in the pot on the stove
With some potash to make it tender and nice
She is my herb and she is my spice.

She thinks of the color for her food serene
Adding waakye leaves in her rice and beans
The red color to the eyes is a good entice
She is my herb and she is my spice

And then she thinks of what healthy value to give
So alfalfa is for vitamin, minerals, and protein
Then add some time and pumpkin that's diced
She is my sweet herb and she is my spice.

So when at my appetite has lost its urge,
She knows that chicory leaf will give it the surge.
And in my juice I got some ginseng root
She is my herb and my sweet-bitter fruit.

Satisfied as a man with my herb and spice
Ruth's the story of spice and herb from the tree
Then what else can it be
My herb! ! My Spice! My Love!
