Glad You'Re Gone Poem by Ivory Strife

Glad You'Re Gone

I shed not one tear,
When I woke up to find you not here.
No, I'm not sad,
I'm not even mad.
You blame me for you going away,
But I don't care what you say,
You were no man anyway.
You can't run away forever,
But when you come back don't expect us to be together.
Things will never be the same,
And you're the one to blame.
You could have fixed all of this,
With an apology, a joke, a kiss.
But not it's just too late,
On you I refuse to wait.
After a second or two too long,
I finally realize I'm glad you're gone!
