Under A Blue Sky (Nursery Rhyme) Poem by Ivory Strife

Under A Blue Sky (Nursery Rhyme)

Under a blue sky...
Eleven blue jays lay,
ten soft sheep sleep,
and nine ladybugs lay all nice and snug.
Here they all rest under the branches of the maple tree.
Under a blue sky...
Eight full frogs sit on an old wooden log,
seven singing lullabies play all night long,
and six tulip trees swing freely.
Here they all rest under the branches of the maple tree.
Under a blue sky...
Five forever dancing daisies dance again,
four free fireflies fly in open skies,
and three true tall tales are told once more.
Here they all rest under the branches of the maple tree.
Under a blue sky...
Two loons sleep under a blue moon.
Here they rest under the branches of the maple tree.
Under a blue sky...
One maple tree protects us all.
