Giving Poem by MYK NWACHUKWU

Giving

Rating: 4.0

Giving creates momentum of emotion for both giver and receiver
Giving offers that magical spark to the succor
Giving stems from the understanding of love and sharing
Giving is a heritage only begotten by those who are people-minded
Giving commands and compels a spirit of giving-all
The act of giving is the spirit of sacrifice

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others
Cannot keep it for themselves...
The non-giver or those who give very little
Are not much richer or more at peace

Success is measured by idea
Success is measured by peace of mind
Givers transforms receivers sub consciousness
Givers resources are continually replenished and increased
Givers are a blessing to society and mankind
Givers are perpetually servant to society and mankind
True givers are philanthropists
They are the true lions

Often times they deny or forgo certain luxuries
To satisfy the needy
To satisfy the oppressed
To satisfy the poor
They know in their heart that lack of help triggers poverty
They give to bridge the gap

True givers actively provides succors to the needy
The Motherless Babies' Homes
The Hospitals
The Prisons
The Widows
The other less-privileged in the society
They provide Mentorship
They provide Leadership
They provide Direction
They provide their valuable Times
They provide their Resources
Givers give their all.

The Trouble of giving is when these relief materials
Are directed to the wrong Target Audience
The wrong target audience are
The lazy stricken folks
Those possessed with poverty of the mind
Those who feel it's their birth right (friends and relations) to be provided for - wrong entitlement
To be insured in your scheme of endowment.
Such that they eventually abuse this gesture and fail to appreciate

My salute to genuine givers
My continual prayer to the givers
A deep advice to Givers
Teach the lazy stricken folks
The act of trade of business
Teach those strained with poverty of the mind the act self-sufficiency

The givers are truly rich because they continually give back to the society
That had given them this power, wealth and providence.
