Girl, I want you to know
That he is no good for you
All that he thrives on doing
Is breaking your poor heart in two
I tried to get you to see that
But you did not want to hear
Endless tears are falling down
And you have that sudden look of fear
Why, oh why girl?
Do you give you heart to the wrong man
Poor judgement has been made on your part
Makes it hard for you to take a stand
You have been blindsided by love
That is what is wrong
You hold your head so far down
Your heart needs to be strong
