Ghosts Of Disappointment Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Ghosts Of Disappointment

Looking in hidden shadows for a love that could be both
wonderful and unconditionally just for this poet, having
missed something that would've given love and fidelity in
this lonely human life.

Registering on interior data banks, finding nothing coming
even close to what is really deserved, wanting peace and
serenity with children and Grandchildren through these
last moments here on earth.

Seeing disappointment everywhere, wishing the ghost of it
would just disappear somewhere else in the world, leaving
this poetic being in a solitary peace in order to move in-
to another area of life at last.
