The first laugh
in my first German class
came via ‘Vater';
the second from ‘Er fahrt'.
The third was provided
by the umlaut in ‘Führer' -
it sort of looked like his tache.
As we laughed,
the teacher yelled, ‘Endlich Erwichsen! Finally Grow Up! '
After 3 laughs, there came no more.
He actually meant ‘Erwachsen'.
If we knew then that ‘wichsen' meant ‘wank',
what he yelled would have started 4.

First German class laughter has come through Vater. This is wonderful. Thank you very much for analyzing the word and conveying the truth. This poem is brilliantly penned.10
