I am enjoying my babies
With God so very close
I smile at my flowers
I love them all the most.
But that, my friend, is easy
For they all are special to me
They sprout their little flowers
The shades I love to see.
I talk to them and to God
I cherish them all you see
Some Ruby Bells I adore, though
Some names have escaped me.
It doesn't matter at all, of course
They all will understand
Some I can pick, take inside
Some must stay in the land.
They come and go, yes I know
The seasons change each year
But God and me, I can see
We both hold them so very near.
