Galactic Visions Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Galactic Visions

Inside galactic eyes
Peering upon the universe
The vastness and all
Worlds upon worlds
Inner reaches
Unknown in divergence
Surging upon enigmatic explorations
Of a new language discovered
Fluent in star born metaphors, as one

Traveling to each depth
Paradoxes and dimensions
Nowhere near redundancy
Dreams full of exploration
Where reality has no claim
At all

Through the thickness
Burdens they want to haunt
This shadow of relevancy
Terror upon this multi terrestrial soul
Nowhere to go but chaos
Flickering light
A lone planet of lost hope

But I escape reality's clutches
Through dreams I am someone
To behold a lone adventure
Of peace, acceptance and love

In a zone of self
Traveling on and on
Taking on each pain
On auto pilot
Exploring all on my own

Inside galactic eyes
Upon a fresh new universe
All on my own
Unknown, but noticed
For being something
To an enigmatic realm
Within each planetary visit
Speaking in each star's dialect
Ascending beyond the norm
Fluent in cosmic metaphors…

At peace
As one

Seeing something beyond its form

Galactic eyes unify
In peace
As one

Seeing something beyond its true form
Where reality has nowhere to roam
In peace
As one

Inside this galactic eye
In my own imagination
I exist,
I am actually, someone

This universe I call my own

Galactic eye
All alone

As one
