Furry Kittens I Dread Yet Love Poem by Gamson Jr Mawallil Quijano

Furry Kittens I Dread Yet Love

With much trepidation,
I dread cats most especially kittens!
But my heart and thoughts are with them
In fact, to see them hurt or neglected
makes me feel hurt, too
My late maternal granny had many cats at home
She loved them so dearly
She took care of them compassionately
Using a special plate, she fed her adorable cats
With rice and fish she nourished them
She gently bathed and combed their furs regularly
Oftentimes, her cats slept beside her
Wherever she went around her home,
her cats always followed her
They kept meowing as they stalked her lovingly
With a heavy heart, tears flowing in her eyes
she buried them properly with great care and affection when one of them died.
