Full Frontal Nudity Poem by Patti Masterman

Full Frontal Nudity

full frontal nudity:
her firm contours melting into one another
countries without definite borders,
so aptly was she crafted.

looking lost in time,
out of place; does she wander Earth now
in search of something
to remind who she used to be?

she who was worshiped like a god,
her curves traced under many devoted palms:
a map to heaven for those
who knew where to find it.

looking lonely beneath the sky,
clouds arranged artfully beyond her gaze,
and still firm on their foundation,
stand the marble feet of Aphrodite.
