grappling with the poison
if you've made better choices
you would be lying beside me every night
and you wouldn't question what you're feeling
i'll do no wrong to you, i'll love you right
cause if it's worth having than it's worth putting in the fight

saying that you miss me
is how you give me half the picture
but I can see the whole painted portrait
and you keep standing in the way of what's important
cause you know that what we have
is something special in our path
and could be gone within a flash

you've been feeling like
what you need is a change
you know that I love you
it is no secret and i can not tell a lie
those signs you have been reading
take you to the road of what you're needing
you feel it deep within your heart
and there's apart here deep inside me
which feels it too
