Fruitless Poem by Danny The Dreamer Boyd

Fruitless

Rating: 5.0

I had a dream:
I swam upstream—
The current got the best of me!

Then when ashore
I fought some more,
Despite all of my agony!

A winged beast, —
Darkness increased—
Leviathan out of the sea!

I thought I'd won;
Then gone the sun—
Oh, gazed upon a barren tree…
