Frosted Trees Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Frosted Trees

The frosted trees
Surrender
Too heavy the hand
Of chill
And lank faced
Frost
Too heavy
Too heavy

A distant bell that rang
Has stopped.

A glowing nymph
Has danced
And shine
The night-lakes cold!
