From to

Today is the day
The day I am afraid of
It is like the day when
The pipes were dry
Empty of water
Full of noise
Coughed air
And I
Like many in this building
Needed the washroom.

Tried hard to hold it
To delay and postpone it
To wait for water…

I lost
Nature won
I pulled the pants
And…

With no water in the tank
No flush!
I looked…
Let the lid fall
But the smell
It filled the air
Filled the rooms and kitchen
I got headache.

Today's Washington
Copies my apartment
Reminds me of that day
Even if we cover our ears
Even if we close our eyes
Even if the lid is fallen
Even if we walk away
Even forget the water
We have to accept
"White House stinks
It is choking; no fresh air
Smell fills whole atmosphere…"
