From Mercy And Misery And Back Again Poem by Nyx C Styx

From Mercy And Misery And Back Again

I'll change my name from mercy to misery
as I am made to be through days of injury
I am blind by hopeful folly
that I could live without my melancholy

My own skin I can no longer feel
Lost in the mist of dreams and Real
I shall again find peace of mind
in solitude of a softer kind

Until then I will voice every tear
till you lay beside me near
and in whispers, Love me
till I again maybe Mercy
