From Inside Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

From Inside

My cuckoo
You go
Away forever
And forget me to hear

I shall be quiet
But make you let
That I am desperate
To relate

I am so deep
But keep
Calm posture
To make sure

Yet I long
Perform no wrong
But wish to inform
I need to be warm

I shall be silent
And completely absent
If you neglect
And do not act

It is killing from inside
For me love is to confide
Express it in no uncertain terms
I say "I love you and turn"
