From Devil To Angel Poem by Victoria Hudson

From Devil To Angel

A long time has past.
Everything is long gone.
Nothing here has last,
Other than a simple song.

She sang it sweetly,
Tempted me to come close.
She wanted me.
I was who she chose.

I became the devil.
I obtained power to create hell.
No longer the same.
This was my little game.

I had fun while it lasted.
But then I saw the pain.
I knew it wasn't what I wanted.
So I ended the game.

A different one called out to me.
She called by a sweet innocent song.
I looked out towards the sea
And I knew where I belonged.

I treated people fairly.
I was nice.
Kids related me to a fairy.
But I had too much spice.

They called me an angel.
But how is that so?
I used to be the devil.
So what did my life show?
