Friendship Poem by Phillip Ahrens

Friendship

Rating: 5.0

I know someone thats heart is braking.
You see him every day.
You don't notice his pain because he hides it away behind his shades.
If you were to ask people who know him they would say he is doing great.
If you knew the truth.

Why.
Why he wears his shades as a disguise.
If you only knew why.
If you knew why he cries to him self to sleep at night.
If you only knew you would be surprised.

If you knew him you would know why.
Why he would never tell some one his friend died in front of his eyes, in his arms.

If you know why.
Why he is able to survive, and fool all the friends.
Why he is able to survive with the pain inside.
Why he is able to wear a smile, like a disguise.

If you only knew that he had a friend going throw the same pain to.
If you only knew that she could make peace in the world.
Her smile can light up the night like the sun.
If you only knew that she could smile you would see.
But her tears hide it away.

If you only knew that she listens and tries to make every thing right.
If you could only see her smile.
But to see smile you must stop th tears that fall.
To stop her heart from braking.
To see her smile she must know that a true friend is waiting.

like the shore waits for the ship lost in the storm.
To she her smile you must be with them throw the good and the bad.
And to find what life really about.
After you been throw the worse you will see the best.
To find the real friend that will stick with you to the end.
