Friends Poem by Noelle Mott

Friends

People say they will always be there when you cry,
They say their your best friends, and it's a lie
Being rejected and hurt and lied to all the time
You tell them a secret one day and the next everyone knows
Trying to find a friend that likes you for you
And won't make fun of the conditions you were born with
Like OCD, ADD, or ADHD...at school people stare and stare
You just want to be air that can't be seen by anyone that looks
Blending in or having people except you for who you are
You're looking for the friends that are trustworthy
Friends come and go, but my family will always be there for me.
