A friendly face a friendly smile
That’s all we ask once in a while
Is it so hard for you to show?
As you pass by people without saying hello

Life to short and full of doubt
So spread some happiness all about
A nod of the head a wink of the eye
That’s all it takes to bring a smile

That’s all it takes wherever you go
You don’t even need to say hello
So when you’re grumpy
Sit and think, what other people must think

It costs you nothing so have a go
Do that little gesture we all know
Its language has know bounds
So spread some happiness all around
