Friend Zoned Again Poem by Sean Lux

Friend Zoned Again

Sometimes you see it coming.
It still doesn't make it easier to bear.
You open up to express your feelings to let her know your care.

You expound on your finer qualities to show on you she can depend.
Her greatly anticipated response- 'Thanks, you're a really good friend.'

Yup. That's about the way of it. It also seems the type of thing that's a bit like getting struck by lightning. That is, once it's happened to you before, it's all the more likely to reoccur
