Friend Zone Poem by Randy McClave

Friend Zone

Rating: 5.0

Upon me there is no strings attached
She made that point perfectly clear,
As she and I are nowhere near matched
And I should not ever call her honey or dear.
Her ex she said had treated her bad
He would tell her what to like and who to know,
And now I just make her feel lonely and sad
As she said, I am always free to come and to go.
So, I asked her in her life where do I stand
That answer only she has known,
I have never once held onto her hand
So, she has placed me in the friend zone.
