Friend Loan Poem by April Humason

Friend Loan

Rating: 3.5

I thought you were grown
So I gave you a loan
Now your unknown
Who could've known

Now I'm broke
In need of a smoke
Sending a evoke
This isn't a joke

I don't want to miss speak
But were playing hide and seek
I'm ready to critique
You for being a bleak

Your were my friend
But I can't amend
What you did in the end
With my lend

A great poem about being deceived by a so called friend. Learned the hard way. The only one you can truly trust is yourself! And sometimes even that can be hard!
