Friend, Lincoln's Statue, You Ask Not To Remove It? (From Washington) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Friend, Lincoln's Statue, You Ask Not To Remove It? (From Washington)

Lincoln was Lincoln,
Never will there be,
neither you can be
Nor I can be
Though a man he was
The same man
Whom you see everyday.

What wrong has it done
That you are against it
With your supposition and proposition?
Had he not freed slaves,
Would you have been happy?
Talk with some sense,
Never talk you nonsensically.
