Friend Poem by Cassandra Kinman

Friend

I don't have many friends.
I listen to country music.
I like to read a lot.
And if it were possible
I'd probably talk off your ear.

But if you get to know me,
I don't talk quite so much.
If you tell me a secret,
I'll be lying in my grave
Before I tell a soul.
We'd do some crazy stuff.
Maybe we'd stay at home,
And talk about some stuff.
Maybe we'd stay up all night,
And have a movie marathon,
And laugh until we cried.

If you simply got to know me,
I'd be a loyal friend.
And then when we are old and gray,
Or maybe when we're just plain old
You'd remind me of the day
You thought your ear'd fall off.
Then I'd remind you of the day
You became my friend.

A great mean of loyalty and sincerity that show the meaning of friendship :) Nice poem :)

You sure sound like you'd be a good friend. I'm surprised to hear you say you don't have many! Anyways, lovely writing.
