Freud And The Humiliations Poem by Jayeeta Bhattacharya

Freud And The Humiliations

It was a song that ended with a beginning
It was really an obscurity although
To think in such humiliating way
The cat ran over by the hasty car
That too was an end of the start
The traffic gathering, and amazed!
The anatomy of poor thing;
The discussions about many other
Run over stories. The beginning...
As I spoiled the boiled milk that
Afternoon I thought it was the end.
Milk was spoiled...but it started a
New chemistry chapter although
Such discussions lead to ample
Humiliation. Sometimes songs
Start with the end.

Fables call
For useless ethics that gives you
Hints of the past. The history begins on
The timeline.
Freud's saying are all dead, in heaven now
The sums we did were
time and distance...
Could not get the right answer.
All sums start with the end. A father
And a son going to future and then coming
Back. How humiliating it seemed...
Freud could not answer!

Even now in continents large scale
End with victories. Beginning a new story
Of famine and epidemic...
A mass humiliation starts with every
Ending episode.
The song still ends and the story begins
Humiliating all sermons of Jesuits.
