Frankenstein Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Frankenstein

Frankenstein

Read this book times and times,
wrote essay, named it: 'Fix'
I ignored Mary's life.

Regardless
her father and those books
her mother and her guts
living in devil's time
being mean to
a wife and mother…
and Shelley's children!
Regardless
who she was; what she did
doubtlessly her book is
worth essay!

Getting Fix was based on
the seamen finding way
with three LOPs.

She too had LOPs,
brother, tiresome, loneliness
and victor, wandered mind
and Monster, the ignored.

She made them to hone on one topic:
'Ignored can be danger! '

Mary talks with today's one percent:
'Ignored needs care, kindness
needs caress and consciousness,
to feel home and oneness.
If in huts abandoned
learns much in exponent
to use noose for master.
You leave them and they rise
inside them grows ice…
and they kill, run like gust! '

At that time she addressed Britain;
‘A monster internal, external! '
