What is the use
the use of pretending
the use of chasing a dream
that has long been forgotten

What is this feeling
the feeling of hurt
the feeling that always comes back
after someone pulls away

Have you forgotten
forgotten the laughs
forgotten the reason
I came here in the first place.

Is it time
time to give up
time to erase
and move on from this place

I am tired
tired of trying to get closer
tired of chasing a dream
a dream you have long forgotten.
