Forget Me Not When We Meet Again Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Forget Me Not When We Meet Again

Rating: 4.8

Why did we not meet before
Cause when seeds are sown
The trees do grow, and then
In time fruits too will show

Who said we did not meet before
I am sure we did, but on the other shore
We looked different, spoke different
We still were friends, But I had to go.

For many year I loved a man
I was in love, I don't defend
But all this time he did pretend
It was a debt from previous land
I have paid the debt, that is the end

Across the seas in a foreign land
There is this person, who understands
We have never met, we never can
But through verses and words
We have held our hands

Strong threads of friendship
That no one can see
Perfection of affection
An unspoken treaty
