Forget Poem by Cookie Matzii

Forget

Tell me you didn't love me,
you big-headed jerk.
Tell me the truth, I can take another heartbreak.
There's nothing left to work.

Everything was a lie,
and you regret them, I know.
But c'mon, it wasn't my fault.
It was you who let go.

You stupid heartbreaker,
now you're spreading the dirt.
I'm keeping all of our past
while you're with her, you're a flirt.

She was all you wanted,
I knew this all along.
You made me feel like a fool,
pretended to write me a song.

I was right to not give all my trust,
I hid an inner part.
I knew history will repeat itself,
and you'll soon again break my heart.

I've learned a lot over the heartbreaks,
and how I never really liked you.
I was blinded by my emotions,
and now I've realized they weren't true.

I've moved on like you.
But there are things, I don't regret
'cause those things they made me smile.
And all the other stuff, I'll just forget.
