Just as a child,
You believed in the absolute knowledge of your parents;
Just as a grown-up,
You believed in the wisdom of Church
And in the power of the Good Lord;

You thought you had to know it all
When the teacher yelled because you didn't;
You thought you had to know it all,
For someone to see you as worthy enough.

You thought you had to know,
In a universe full of uncertainty and contradictory truths.
You thought you had to know,
But you don't,
Cause Source itself is forever learning,
