Forever In Love Poem by Juan Olivarez

Forever In Love

Rating: 4.5

Forever in love
With a pair of eyes.
But Brown not blue
Like my Texas skies.

They're Irish eyes
Yes to be sure.
But Amber not green
Sweet and demure.

Forever in love
With her Irish eyes
That whisper love
And never lies.

Irish eyes from
An emerald isle.
That my simple soul
Long ago beguiled.

Forever in love
On this road of life.
With the Irish eyes
Of my sweet wife.

'Forever in love On this road of life. With the Irish eyes Of my sweet wife.'...so nice. You revealed the suspense about the person in the last stanza. So nice. Thanks for sharing.
