For Shining Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

For Shining

For shining

One need not die
But kill and try
At each level
To excel

Why not go for real light?
And fight
For what is dark in us
With distrust

Many enemies are seated permanently
And surface instantly
With plan to wrack
And put everything at stake

So darkness is presented here
With lots of fear
Generated within
And actually not seen

So when you lay down
On bed of your own
Think about those foes
And be aloof to choose

You shall love
When come alive
Next day morning
For shining

Allis Well Well, if one can transcend the dualistic approach, then all are friends and no foes. Else, friend can turn into a foe and the other way round. Unlike · Reply · 1 · 2 mins
