Love need not be grand.
No need for gold, nor magic wands,
nor flowery spiels, nor random vows.
Love need not be proud.
No need for testaments too loud,
nor vulgar, affirming touch.
Love need not be rushed.
No need to stake your heart,
nor to ever feel left out.
For love is love-
Voids all reasons,
transcends lust.
For love is love-
Blooms and thrives
Amid spring or drought.
