Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself
Something that glitters within your reach
More precious than packages with bows
It frees you from bitterness and blues

Nobody's perfect, not even you
Forgive and let go. That, you must do
Time heals all wounds. That's true
Love your fellow despite his flaws

Lay your heart in a peaceful place
Where smiles and hugs are blissful craze
Don't chain your soul in eternal bleakness
Find within you the gift of forgiveness
