For Justin Poem by Ruth Verch

For Justin

All eyes to the sky tonight.
Won't you send me a shooting star?
All thoughts I am of you tonight, no matter where you are.
I drew comfort in the knowledge of just knowing that you're there.
There's so much you brought to my life.
Now grief has stripped me bare.
I loved you very dearly.
Please know this to be true.
The night feels cold without you and chill has turned me blue.
A hole you did dig in my heart, one no one else can fill.
I've missed you every day you've gone and know I always will.
