Food For Thought Poem by Lynne Howard

Food For Thought

Aromatic flavour of the spices
Curry lovers to thyself be true
Keep a glass of water at the ready
It may just be vindaloo

British fayre of fish and chips
To the eyes they please
Sprinkled with salt and vinegar
And a dollop of mushy peas

Hot fiery peppers, tomatoes and kidney beans
Putting our taste buds to the test
Washed down with a glass of tequila
Mexican chilli at its best
