Flying Away Again Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Flying Away Again

My soul flies away,
My heart always drifts,
into the unknown spaces,
somewhere where time no longer matters,
to capture the true beauty of love;
where fire is not seen with eyes,
but its burning flames,
leave a print on my flesh,
conversing with my spirit;
So my longing begins and I leave this place,
searching for the fruit,
wanting to submerge in those flames once more'
Oh merciful God,
if only for a moment I could feel your fire,
for living with out you here, I can't exist,
only moments, why?
I can no longer be content,
I am missing,
I am left behind the grail,
strike me if you wish,
for I no longer wish to breathe without you.
