I walked by a bird in a cage
The bird talked to me
Asked me, if i was on my way to the shore
It had a message for those birds whom are free
Flying over the sea
I opened the cage, told it it was free
It did not move
I never learnt to fly, it said to me

Dont be afraid little bird
Open your wings
Fly the sky so high
Face the sun
Feel the rain
Meet the storm and hide in the trees

Fly little bird
Live and die free
