Oh how I want you, to be the one with me again.
You're like a little piece of heaven.
I just can't loose the grip of you, can't detach the fact
There are so many other, fish in the sea,
But you're the only one out there, who was made to be with me.

Whenever I'm not thinking, presently of you
I flashback to our spotless past, in the beginning, so priceless and so new.
When we competed whose name, was written bigger on the palms of our hands.
I knew who i was then, i stood on rock, now, i fall into the sand.
When you waited outside of my class until i got out,
Way back when, I didn't have a half of a doubt
That things could change...oh how much, they've changed...

All the feelings ended with a mindless mistake of mine.
If I knew of a chance, of getting it all back i'd try.
So now I sing, about how things used to be
While you're flirting with her, completely forgotten about me...

I know that you know, deep deep down within,
That you know that girl with you now, will soon leave you sitting
On the sidewalk, all abandoned, deserted, and alone.
Just want to let you know, if you call me at 2am, i will always pick up the phone.

Whenever I'm not thinking, presently of you,
I flashback to our long twisted path, crooked but so true.
I'm the type of girl who learns from her mistakes,
So if you give me another chance, I won't give up, and that's a promise i can make.

Remember when you asked who I desired?
You were the one, who made me feel i mattered.
Remember when 'Who loved each other more', was our only argument?
Remember that dance and date on January twenty second?
I flashback to the day on the bridge where I first held your hand.
Do you ever flashback to all that we had then?
Do you ever remember what you felt like when you saw me turn the corner?
Do you ever wonder 'What will she think if I tell her I still love her? '

I remember, I do recall, and I flashback every moment of the day.
Wondering what would be of now, if I had stayed.
But I don't want to have to flashback to, spend time with you, no.
If you ever flashback like I do, you just say so.
