Before I formed you
I knew you and loved you
And before the foundation of the earth
I knew the year, date and time of your birth
I have commended my love towards you
While you were in sin, and of me, you hadn’t the slightest clue
I am the alpha and the omega
The Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father
Though I am the beginning, the beginning is not me
Even as I am the end, I am eternity

The fight is fixed, you cannot loose
I am your God and you’re the one I choose

I am omnipotent
Empowering you to go where ever you’re sent
So when you are unable
Remember that I am able
And when you get tired and cannot do your best
Have faith in me, be patient and I will give you rest
Let your light shine before men
And be their escape from sin’s darkened den
You have been made in my image
Therefore, upon the earth you are my representative

I know the plans that I have for you
And guarantees that your greatest dream will come true
I will be your guide, your provider, your shield
Ensuring you are led, fed and your wounds healed
I am strongest
When you are at your weakest
Seek me first and my righteousness
And I will give you the favour of the one that is blessed
Trust in me with all your heart and I will direct your steps
Delight in me and I promise that you will never have to stress

I called him a man when he was just a kid
As he stood with me, Goliath was shocked
And I gave him the victory with only a rock
Whenever I am with you
Faith is all you need to get your break through
With me ALL things are possible
Even those, which are to you, impossible
Since whatever I say becomes
Only in my kingdom can unspeakable peace be found

There was a Samaritan woman whom I met at a well
I told her she could have living water without casting a spell
I said to her that I am a spirit and those that worship me
Must worship me in spirit and in truth continually
She spoke about her relationship problems
My grace was sufficient and my mercy covered them
The same vice that she perceived as her misery
Was transformed by my love into her ministry
All you need is an encounter with me
So stop playing church and really seek me

Did you ever consider whose you are and who I am?
Imagine the moment when I spoke to the waves and they became calm
No one, not even the devil can touch you
Without first getting permission yet I control what he can do
That’s why I said all things work together for good
You cannot surprise me, you are as you should
Destiny is not a decision you make
But rather the discovery of a journey that you take
Just for you I died on Calvary
So have faith and never worry about the victory

From the highest mountain to the deepest sea
All of creation displays my majesty
I am the source of the sun’s light
As much as I am the cool in the chill of the night
I will always be with you
Just as you are sure that the sky is blue
When your sins demanded justice for your soul
I became the judge as my grace ensured your parole
So rest assured that my mercy
Will always be your defense attorney

So when in doubt know I’m at your side
You are kept from the seen as well as the unseen
And preserved from the devil and his evil scheme
If you would only embrace me
For your provisions you would never have to worry

And to all I have released my very best

Remember Elijah
With the prophets of Baal, competing to bring fire
Although it was only him
Against four hundred and fifty men
On mount Carmel
With fire, I proved that I was the God of Israel
I am the one true God, the Lord of all
And besides me all other gods will fall
I will never leave nor forsake you
For your triumphs are mine too

The gospel of John records a woman caught
In the very act of adultery and she was brought
By the scribes and Pharisees before me
So that I may judge her inequity
But in silence and without a fuss
I stooped down and wrote in the dust
It was the commandments
But without any comments
They all departed
As they identified their sins and felt convicted

Consider how I was with Samson
While the men of Judah doubted, he knew the battle would be won
Because three thousand men feared their enemy
They bound him with new cords immediately
To offer him to the Philistines, but I
Would not allow anyone who believes in me to die
So I sent my Spirit mightily upon him
And with my strength he used a jawbone to begin
I empowered him to lay waste of a thousand men
And I am with you now just as I was with him then

Throughout the Holy Scriptures
I have demonstrated my faithfulness and powers
Think of Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones
I commanded him to prophesy and behold
Because of his faith in me
He was able to resurrect a mighty army
I am the Lord your God who desires for you to be the head
I will always walk with you and if necessary I will go ahead
Just have faith and trust in me
And you will always have the victory
