First Time Poem by Arno Le Roux

First Time

Somehow holding her hand was for me meant
Friends were absent from all the evenings I dreamt
Just that once we held so close my hormones sent

Didn't care much for rules that other couples bound
Understand me she did I didn't have to sound
My heart tighter tied while she soon strung around

Yearns she had said and showed me the dew
Somehow designed yes like us there are few
She steered a rough ocean and us as the crew

Was holding her closer looking in eyes staring down
Only to fix on hard pair, her hands dropped my gown
For here was a woman ignoring others in town
