Fireflies Poem by R. Erin Milana

Fireflies

Outside my window,
there is a shadow,
a lonely heart in the dark,
trying hard to light a spark

Flying away to shade a light,
traverse the sovereign night,
disperse your brave sight,
and dancing in the moon so bright

Never too small to glow,
bravely glittered in the sky
Expel the mist that cover the meadow,
with your little light never shy

Sparkling, twinkling cast away the fear,
a lonely dark aside
Melody of the sky be here,
when the night praise the bride
